Acorn South by Five - Queens Park

Glasgow, United Kingdom • 17 Jan 2027

Event Information

This event is part of the South By Five series, a 5km event held in Queens Park in Glasgow. The series is based on the concept of the South Side Six race. South By Five visits six different parks over a 12-week period, with a 5km run in each park.

This specific entry is for a single event, not the full series. To complete the series and become a "Fiver", a participant must finish 5 out of the 6 races.

Details and Logistics

Entry for the race is free, but places are limited. A mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund is required. The fund supports grassroots sport development, coach training, and local causes. Participants are also encouraged to bring donations for a local foodbank.

An organised litter pick will take place in the park. The event's supported charity is Give A Dog A Bone…and an animal a home, a local organization that helps people over 60 afford pet rescue companions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
