ACORN South By Five 25/26 - Queens Park

The Queens Park event took place on 18 January 2026 as part of the South By Five 2025/26 series. The series visits six parks across a 12 week period and holds a 5km event in each park. Entrants could enter individual races or a full-series entry; completing five of the six races qualifies a participant as a "Fiver". The six parks and their scheduled dates were: Kings Park – 2 November; Linn Park – 16 November; Rouken Glen – 30 November; Pollok Park – 14 December; Bellahouston Park – 4 January; Queens Park – 18 January.

Entry, charity and event details

Entry to the races was listed as free, with places limited; the Queens Park event had 65 total places and the event status is closed. A mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund applied to entrants. The organisers asked that, where possible, entrants bring donations to the local foodbank in lieu of an entry fee. Full-series entries carried a condition: if an entrant missed two of the first three events, their series entry could be withdrawn and reallocated without refund. Additional sign-up options included merchandise. The series supported the charity Give A Dog A Bone. An organised litter pick was planned for each park, with specific times to be announced closer to the events. Prices were shown as £0.00 until 17 January 2026, with a service fee of 4 percent (minimum 50p) per sign-up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
