Lakeland Paws: Whinlatter Tails
This trail event takes place at Whinlatter and uses the South Side undulating route. The course runs on a mix of forest roads and trails and is described as less technical than the Seat How route. Organisers reserve the right to change the course because of forest works, but the event will remain at Whinlatter.
There are two course options:
- 10k route with 380m of ascent
- 5K route with 200m of ascent
The event uses individual starts so each competitor and their dog have space at the start. Two dogs are allowed on the less technical course. Runners may also take part without dogs. The event is chip timed and the course will be marked. GPX files are available for download. Entry requires registration through the event platform.
