The Scurry Around Vogrie Country Park Trail Running Festival takes place at Vogrie Country Park, Gorebridge on 18 January 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

The festival is organised by Scurry Events and features marked and marshaled mixed-terrain trail routes that run on estate paths, woodlands, and along the Tyne Valley. Courses, facilities and rules
- The Half Marathon route in 2026 uses a new Jump Ship Brewing course made of two 10.55 km laps that pass through and around Pathhead.
- The 10 km is two 5 km laps. The 5 km is a single 5 km lap. The 1.6 km fun run follows woodland paths on mixed surfaces and is not timed.
- All competitors receive a race memento and medal; children in the fun run receive a participant medal and memento. Prizes are awarded in the Half, 10 km and 5 km categories.
- Facilities include public toilets, a cafe with hot and cold drinks, and a post-race drink plus snacks. A first-aid team will be available at the start and finish areas.
- Safety notes: routes are uneven in places; earphones are prohibited; no dogs for canicross; trail courses are not suitable for pushchairs or prams (off-road buggies may be easier for the fun run).
- Travel: no direct public transport to the park; Gorebridge is the nearest stop with a two-mile walk to the park. Car park exit fee is £3.
