Vogrie Country Park Trail Running Festival

The Vogrie Country Park Trail Running Festival takes place within a historic countryside estate. The event features multiple trail running distances on mixed terrain, utilizing the park's network of paths and woodlands. All races start and finish in front of the Victorian baronial manor house located on the site.

Available distances include:

  • Half Marathon
  • 10 km
  • 5 km
  • 1.6 km (Family Fun Run)

The 5 km distance consists of a single lap, while the 10 km and Half Marathon involve two laps around the estate and the Tyne Valley. The Half Marathon extends beyond the park boundaries for an additional wide lap that passes through Pathhead. The routes are clearly marked and supervised by marshals throughout the course.

Participants receive a race memento and a medal. For those completing the Half Marathon, a beer from Jump Ship Brewing is also provided. Post-race snacks and drinks are available for runners. The onsite Tree Top Cafe serves a variety of hot and cold refreshments for participants and spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
