Lakes Traverse® 2027

Lakes Traverse® 2027 is a 100 km ultra across the Lake District National Park that follows Wainwright's Coast to Coast route. The event is scheduled for Saturday 3rd to Sunday 4th April 2027.

The course starts alongside the Northern Traverse in St Bees on the west coast and finishes at Shap. The route crosses Ennerdale and Borrowdale, goes over Grasmere Common, passes Grisedale Tarn, continues through Patterdale, ascends Kidsty Pike and follows Haweswater toward the finish.

Entry is open to participants aged 18 or older. Entries open on 1st June 2026 and close on 19th March 2027. The stated entry fee is £170.

The event organizer is World Ultra Events UK. The event listing notes an option to purchase XCover so participants may be able to obtain a refund if they cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
