Trail Running calendar near Kielder 2025-2026

The Hillbilly 10K will take place in Dalmellington on Tuesday 25 November 2025. You can run 10 kilometers.

Join the WILD DEER running session at Land of Oak & Iron on 7 December 2025 for a 75 minute coached workout suitable for all abilities. Expect interval work, hill efforts and varied running over 5 to 7 miles with a friendly group vibe.

Lakeland Paws Grizedale Growl on 7 December 2025 in Grizedale Forest offers scenic 5K and 10K runs on forest roads and trails with views over Coniston Water. Chip timed and dog friendly with up to two dogs per runner, event is full.

Join the Nuts Christmas Trail Race on 7 December 2025 in Balbirnie Park for a lively 4 to 5 mile woodland run with mud, water crossings and gentle climbs. Limited to 140 entrants, every finisher earns a bespoke race memento and top runners..

Take on the 14th Harmeny AC 7R Multi Terrain half marathon around seven reservoirs near Balerno on 7 December 2025. Varied trails, boggy sections and sweeping reservoir views make for a tough but scenic off road challenge.

Tackle 17.5 km and 800 m ascent across the wild Southern Galloway hills to Cairnsmore of Fleet. Hosted by Galloway Mountain Rescue Team, the race offers on the day entry, marshals, first aid and hot soup with proceeds to the rescue team.
