Course and services

The route is described as approximately 29 miles, largely off-road on mixed terrain, with about 3,000 ft of elevation gain. The course runs from and back to Morland and follows lines near the Pennines to the east and the Howgills to the south, passing through undulating countryside in the Eden Valley and the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Noted features include stone circles, waterfalls, lower lying fells, cairns, meadows, and historic villages. The event will be fully tracked on Open Tracking. The entry fee includes tracking, a finishers medal, a t-shirt, and water and snacks at three checkpoints.
