The route is a trail ultra of 30 miles, largely off-road on mixed terrain, with 3000 ft of elevation. The course runs through undulating countryside in the Eden Valley and along the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, passing features such as stone circles, waterfalls, lower lying fells, cairns, meadows and historic villages. The route is described as hugging the Pennines to the east and the Howgills to the south.

The event will be fully tracked using Open Tracking. Entry includes tracking, a finishers medal, a t-shirt, and water and snacks at three checkpoints. Trophies are listed for 1st female, 1st male, 1st non-binary, 1st relay team, and for 1st female and male in V50, V60 and V70 categories. Circle Ullswater on a scenic 20 miles lakeside route or push further on a 24 miles high level fell traverse in a friendly, non competitive event. Staffed checkpoints, clear waymarking and post event tea and cake make for a rewarding day out..

Dog friendly trail runs in Dodd Wood offering scenic climbs and views of the Coledale Fells, with 5K and 8K routes over varied forest trails and a steep final descent. Event is currently full.

Take on the scenic 10 mile Derwentwater Ten around the lake in Keswick, a challenging clockwise loop of undulating tarmac. Hosted by Keswick AC from Keswick School, this popular autumn race offers on site facilities and race day support.

Take on a scenic 10 km trail around Kendal on 22 November 2025, with limestone scars, cobbled climbs and views over Morecambe Bay. A friendly, not for profit event by Ourea Events supporting Kendal Mountain Rescue.

Run 50 km with 900 m ascent around Kendal, linking summits and landmarks before finishing at the Kendal Mountain Festival Basecamp. Expect well stocked aid stations, live tracking and a festival finish atmosphere.
