Blanchland Show 1/2 and 10k is a trail-running event staged on fields by Blanchland Village Hall (DH8 9UA). The course takes runners from a steep start onto moors, with the 10k at about 7.9 miles and 900 ft ascent, and the half-marathon at around 13.5 miles and 1,400 ft ascent. The 1/2 loops Slaley Forest before the routes merge and return via The Carriers’ Way to Blanchland. Terrain blends hard-packed gravel, dirt tracks and moorland trod.
