February 2026

Trail marathon, half marathon and 10k held on circular untaped courses from Saltburn Learning Campus on 1 February 2026. Runners must navigate with printed maps, carry mandatory safety kit and meet set time limits.

A 10 mile night trail run across the Simonside Hills near Rothbury on Saturday 7 February 2026. The event uses hilly, forested trails; headtorches are required and all entrants receive an event buff.

Coastal trail running in Bamburgh on 21 February 2026 with 10K, half, marathon and ultra distances on a linear course; the event counts toward the Endurancelife Season Leaderboard.

March 2026

Run beneath starlit skies in the Dark Skies Run Race Series, a night time trail series at scenic UK reservoirs including gold tier Kielder. Distances from 10K to longer routes offer a magical nocturnal trail challenge.

An ultra trail along the Northumberland coast from near Bamburgh Castle to Druridge Bay Country Park, offering 54 km and a new 27 km option. Routes, feed stations, mandatory kit requirements and live chip timing are provided.

A roughly 5k trail race at Hamsterley Forest on 8 March 2026 with mud, hills and obstacles; dogs are welcome and veterinary and canine first aid cover are provided. Teams of five compete for Top Dogz awards based on aggregate time.

A scenic, approximately 12 km multi-terrain trail around Whitley Bay, featuring beach running, clifftops, coastal paths and woodland trails, finishing at Churchill Playing Fields with refreshments and a buff instead of a medal.

An 11 mile fell and trail race in Langleeford on 22 March 2026, crossing Hedgehope Hill and The Cheviot with about 3,689 ft of climb. The course is marked, marshalled and timed, includes a halfway water station and a GPX file is supplied.

A medium-length BM fell race near Frosterley covering about 10.5 km with 380 m ascent on an unmarked route that requires map and compass. Entry is limited to 50 runners and full FRA kit is required.
