TRAILDOG UltiMutt

TRAILDOG UltiMutt is a canicross and family event in Northumberland at Byerley Stud, Wallridge, NE20 0SZ on Sunday 27 September 2026. The event runs over a 5k course with obstacles, some mud and returning paddleboards. Organisers will announce some obstacles before the event and keep others as a surprise.

The course will be way marked and marshalled. The event is fully timed and results will be uploaded online; participants also receive an SMS with their finish time. A course map is to be confirmed.

Entry details include a personalised run number, accurate finish time plus SMS result, event photos, a bespoke wooden medal, dog treats and human treats. Entry cost is £34 plus a processing fee. Children may enter free with any full paying adult and a child name is required on the entry.

Age rules state participants must be 11 years or older to enter the 5k and dogs must be at least 1 year old. A Family Wolfpack Run is available for children up to 16 years; children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Participation rules and equipment requirements are specified. Reactive dogs should wear a Baskerville style muzzle. Canicross runners must use correct canicross kit; walking waves require no specialist equipment. Choke chains, slip leads and restrictive harnesses are not permitted. Refunds or transfers are possible up to 21 days before the event subject to a £5 admin fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
