Montane Grizedale Forest Trail Half & Full Marathon
The Montane Grizedale Forest Trail Half & Full Marathon takes place on 7 February 2027 in Grizedale Forest, within the Lake District National Park. The event uses forest tracks and natural trails and includes sections of steady climbs and open fell views.

Both routes follow signed trails through woodland and open Lakeland scenery. The event provides aid stations, course support, electronic timing, online results, a custom finishers medal and free photos and video. Runners must carry the items listed on the compulsory kit list in the Event Guidance Notes and must be 16 years or over on the day of the race. There are course cut offs, including a final course cut off of 7 hours 30 minutes from the start.
General entry fees are listed as: Half Marathon £42 (+ admin fee) and Marathon £54 (+ admin fee). Parking is available at the Grizedale Visitor Centre, LA22 0QJ.
