The Northern Traverse is a 300 km self-supported ultra race that follows Britain’s northern landscape from the west coast to the east coast. The event utilizes Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route, starting at the St Bees Seafront and concluding at Robin Hood’s Bay.

The course traverses the north of England, passing through three different National Parks. Participants encounter a variety of terrain including mountains, valleys, and moors. The total elevation gain for the journey is approximately 6,500m of ascent.

The race is scheduled to take place over several days between late March and early April. Registration involves a non-refundable deposit followed by instalment payments.
