Sea to Sea 300km

The Sea to Sea 300km is a single-stage, non-stop running event covering a distance of 300 km along a prescribed GPX route from St Bees to Robin Hood Bay. The route must be followed at all times using maps, a handheld device, or a watch GPS, which are mandatory items.

Runners must be self-sufficient and carry the mandatory kit list enforced by the organiser. Competitors receive a tracker, a bib number and one crew pass at St Bees. The tracker must be carried for the duration of the event and will be monitored by race staff. The bib must be visible at all times.

Crew support is permitted at road crossings and other specified locations; the organiser provides details of support locations. Race headquarters and an emergency line will be available remotely during the event.

Runners must finish within 100 hours of their start time to be recorded as official finishers. Entry is limited to a maximum field of 35 competitors and all entrants are checked for competency prior to acceptance. Minimum age is 20 years on the event date.

The entry fee is £62.00 with a UK Athletics discounted fee of £60.00. The event is held under UK Athletics rules and carries license number TRA 8320. Results will be published and shared with major databases after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A 23-mile scenic walking and running route from Ambleside Parish Centre with 4400 ft of ascent via Loughrigg Tarn, Coniston and Tarn Hows. Navigational skills and mandatory kit required; runners and walkers are welcome.

An 11.5 mile fell race around the Newlands fells on 18 April 2026, based at Newlands Adventure Centre in Keswick. Entry is limited to 500 and runners must carry mandatory mountain running kit with pre entry required.
