Both routes feature breathtaking scenery, including a climb up High Pike and, for the 50km option, the ascent of Skiddaw itself. The event starts and finishes in the picturesque village of Caldbeck, with well-marked paths, fully stocked checkpoints, and enthusiastic volunteers.
