The Snaefell and the Tholtans will take place in Snaefell on Saturday 5 December 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

Multiple point to point races along the West Lothian Shale Trail, from 9K to a GPS tracked 50K, plus a 3 person relay. The event supports Smalls for All and features marked routes, checkpoints and chip timing.

A trail event at Whinlatter with two loop options to Seat How, chip timed and marked. Dogs are allowed with specific harness and single dog rules on steeper sections.

A 17.50 km winter hill race in the Southern Galloway with 800 m ascent, summiting Cairnsmore of Fleet via the Door and Knee of Cairnsmore; organised by Galloway Mountain Rescue Team and run under SHR rules.

A 5 km community race at Pollok Park on 13 December 2026 that is part of the South By Five six-park series. Entry is free with a required donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund and completing five of six races completes the series.

January 2027

A 7 kilometres single-lap trail race on undulating off-road terrain around Brampton, Cumbria, with an entry limit, a bespoke finisher medal and free event photographs.

A single *5 km* race at Bellahouston Park on 3 January 2027, part of the South By Five series visiting six parks. Entry is free but requires a minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund and places are limited to 65.

A timed uphill time trial from YHA Borrowdale to the Castle Crag war memorial on Sun 3 Jan 2027. The short 2.5 km course gains 200 m, offers pre-entry and entry on the day, live results, and refreshments for all.

Trail runs at Vogrie Country Park on 17 January 2027 offer waymarked mixed terrain courses of 1.6km, 5km, 10km and a half marathon, starting and finishing by the Victorian manor house with post race refreshments.

A single-entry *5 km* park race at Queens Park on 17 January 2027, part of the South By Five series that visits six parks over 12 weeks. Entry is free with a required minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund and places are limite..

February 2027

Trailspire Ultra 2027 is a seven hour looped endurance event in Callander Park, Falkirk, where runners aim to complete as many 4.14 mile laps as possible. Solo and 2 or 3 person relay entries include live tracking and on-course support.

A roughly 21 mile loop around the Ardgartan Peninsula near Arrochar with about 90% off road terrain, forestry trails and an open hill section. Two safety water stations are at 7 miles and 13 miles and mandatory seasonal kit is required.

Road races in and around Cockermouth offering a half marathon and a 10km through the Lorton Valley with chip-timing, medals and event merchandise. The event supports Blood Bikes Cumbria.

A marked, chip timed trail event at Whinlatter offering two route options: a 10K with 380 m ascent and a 5K with 200 m ascent. Dogs are allowed and runners may compete without them.

March 2027

Trail Outlaws stages night trail races at Kielder Waterside, a gold tier Dark Sky Park, with distances from 10K up to 26.6 miles and entry prices from £23 to £65.

Trail runs at Culzean Castle on 7 March 2027 offer 5km, 10km and half marathon options across a 642 acre estate. Live chip timing is provided, canicross is allowed and finishers receive a medal, merchandise and refreshments.

A 70KM mountain route from St Bees to Patterdale following Wainwrights Coast to Coast, with staffed checkpoints, mandatory kit and live tracking. The event is ITRA registered and has an 18 hour overall cut off.

A multi-day *300 km* crossing of England along Wainwright's Coast to Coast route from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay, with checkpoint support, live tracking, and routes through three national parks.

CT Lakes 100 is a 94 km trail ultramarathon across the Lake District from St Bees to Shap on 20 March 2027, featuring 2,931 m of ascent and checkpoints at Ennerdale, Borrowdale Institute and Patterdale.

A fully marked single lap trail race of 20 kilometres around Buttermere and Crummock Water in Cumbria on 21 March 2027, featuring lakeshore, rocky and woodland trails with wet technical sections on the western shoreline.
