Acorn South by Five - Bellahouston Park

Glasgow, United Kingdom • 3 Jan 2027

Event Details

This entry is for a single event within the South By Five series. The series is inspired by the Glasgow race, The South Side Six. It involves a 5km event held in each of six parks over a 12-week period.

The Series

Runners can enter individual events or the entire series. To complete the series and become a "Fiver," participants must finish 5 of the 6 races. The event at Bellahouston Park is one of these six races.

Participation and Donation

While race entry is free, there is a mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund. This fund supports local good causes, coach training, and trail maintenance. The organizer encourages entrants who can afford it to bring donations for a local foodbank.

Additional Information

The final series race will be followed by a gathering and prize-giving. An organized litter pick will be arranged for each park visited by the series. Various merchandise options were available during sign-up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
