ACORN South By Five 25/26 - Bellahouston Park (04 Jan 2026)

This event is the Bellahouston Park leg of the South By Five series and takes place on 04 January 2026. It is one of six separate 5 km races held across Glasgow parks during the 2025/26 series. Total places for this Bellahouston Park event are 65.

Series format and key details

South By Five comprises six 5 km events over a 12-week period. The six parks and dates in the series are Kings Park (2 Nov), Linn Park (16 Nov), Rouken Glen (30 Nov), Pollok Park (14 Dec), Bellahouston Park (4 Jan), and Queens Park (18 Jan). Completion of at least five of the six races awards the series completion status known as a "Fiver". The final race is followed by a gathering and prize giving at a local bowling club near Queens Park.

Entry to each race is free, but a mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund is required. Places are limited; transfers and a waiting list can be used if circumstances change. Entrants who buy a full-series entry should note a rule: if they miss two of the first three events, their series entry may be withdrawn and offered to the waiting list, with no refund. Additional sign-up options and merchandise are available. The series supports the local charity Give A Dog A Bone and organised litter picks will take place in each park.
