ACORN South By Five - Pollok Park

ACORN South By Five at Pollok Park is a single 5 km event taking place on 13 December 2026. This entry covers one event only; participants may enter this race on its own or register for the full South By Five series that visits six parks over a 12 week period.

Each park hosts a 5 km race. The six parks and dates are Kings Park 1 November, Linn Park 15 November, Rouken Glen 29 November, Pollok Park 13 December, Bellahouston Park 3 January, and Queens Park 17 January. To complete the series and earn the series finish designation, five of the six races must be completed.

All races are free to enter, but entry requires a mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund. Places are limited; this event lists a total of 65 places. Series entries are subject to attendance rules: if a series entrant fails to attend two of the first three events, their series entry will be withdrawn and offered to the waiting list without refund.

Additional sign-up options include South By Five merchandise available until the end of August. The event supports a local charity called Give A Dog A Bone which assists over 60s to adopt rescue pets. Organised litter picks will take place at each park, and the final race is followed by a gathering and prize giving at a local bowling club near Queens Park.
