South By Five is a series of six 5 km running events held in different parks across the south side of Glasgow. The event at Pollok Park is one of these individual races.

Series Structure

The series takes place over a 12-week period, with a race in each of six parks. Participants can enter single events or the full series. To complete the series and become a "Fiver," a participant must finish five of the six races.

Entry to individual races is free, but places are limited. There is a mandatory minimum donation to the Acorn Trails Community Fund, which supports local causes and park development. Participants are also encouraged to bring donations for a local foodbank.
