Trail Running calendar near Telford 2026-2027

Join Ooops I Ran It Again at Dare Valley Country Park on 25 July 2026 for a fun themed seven hour time challenge where you can choose distances from 3 km to ultras. Expect medals, goody bags, on course refreshments and scenic park trails.

Alderman's Ascent is an 8.5 km fell race in Greenfield with about 400 m of ascent, visiting Pots and Pans and Shaw Rocks. It is an FRA AS category race with pre entry and day entry options and teams allowed.

Trail runs on 26 July 2026 around Pen Y Fan with two distance options, 5 miles and 13 miles. Entries include a buff, medal and chip timing and specific compulsory kit is required for each distance.

Tackle the classic Holme Moss Fell Race, a rugged 28 km Pennine moorland challenge with steep climbs, rocky ground and river crossings. Limited to 200 experienced runners, bring navigation skills and mandatory kit for a true fell adventure.

A 24 mile walk or run on footpaths around Calderdale, starting and finishing at Heath Rugby Club near Halifax, with checkpoints, refreshments and a finish meal; discounted entry for LDWA members and a certificate for finishers.

Run the scenic grounds of Elvaston Castle at the Derby Running Festival with 5K, 10K and half marathon options on flat mixed trail and tarmac. Enjoy a themed medal, chip timing, free race photos and a lively event village.

Three circular routes explore Birmingham's canals and the River Cole from Moseley Rugby Club. Distances are 18.5, 26.5 and 30 miles, mostly off road, with checkpoints, finish meal options and a finisher badge.

A new 4 mile route around Bradwell in the Peak District on Tue 4 Aug 2026 climbs 276 m for a rewarding hill challenge. Teams welcome and pre entry opens in May with on the day entries available at Bradwell Sports Pavilion.
