The Charnwood Challenge 2025 : event overview

Course age rules: the 10 mile run is for adults aged 16 years or older. The 10 mile walk has an adult category for 16 years or older and a junior category for 10 to 15 year olds. Entrants aged 10 to 15 may compete in the walking challenge only if accompanied by an adult parent or guardian. Entries opened 18 April 2025 and close 5 October 2025. Entry fees vary by category and membership; examples listed include adult 10 mile run from £18 to £22 and junior walk at £6. Trail runs nearby

Run festive trails through Sherwood Pines on 14 December 2025 with a family mile plus 5 km and 10 km options open to dogs. Finishers get chip timing, medals and mince pies and there is a Merrell shoe demo.
