Sporting Paws Fall Flash Dash

The Sporting Paws Fall Flash Dash is a canicross event held at Pennington Flash Country Park. This event focuses on running with canine partners through a variety of scenic landscapes, including forest areas and lakeside paths. The course consists of open parkland and well-maintained trails that are primarily flat with some incidental inclines.

Participants can choose from two different distance options:

  • Short Course (1.5-2 km)
  • Long Course (4-5 km)

The event is designed to be inclusive for participants of all abilities. The routes are clearly marked and staffed by marshals to provide guidance throughout the park. The venue at Pennington Flash Country Park offers several amenities for attendees, including on-site parking and a café for refreshments. Public toilets are also available near the start and finish areas.

Safety and animal welfare are prioritized, with support and water access available during the event. Registration is open to the public without specific qualification requirements, providing an opportunity for both new and regular canicross pairs to run together in a social environment.
