The Tideswell Terminator

The Tideswell Terminator is a countryside running event held on Saturday 10th October. The course is listed at 8.9 km with 267 m of total climb and finishes at Bishop Pursglove Primary School in Tideswell, SK17 8NE. Registration is at the same school.

The route starts in the village of Tideswell and runs across fields toward Litton before dropping into the valley around Peters Stone. Runners then face a steep climb to the trig point at the summit of Hay Cop in Wardlow, followed by a descent toward Cressbrook. The course includes another climb returning into Litton, and the final section brings participants back to Tideswell.
