Blaze the Biblins is a trail race organised by Monross Trailblazers on 18 October 2026. The race holds a Welsh Athletics permit and is run under UK Athletics rules. Entry fees are listed as £15 for affiliated runners and £17 for unaffiliated runners. The event has an entry limit of 200. A waiting list will operate if the limit is reached. The event is open to runners aged 17 or older on race day. Prizes will be awarded to overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in male and female categories, to age group winners, and to male and female teams (teams of three qualify). Finishers receive a memento and tea and cake at race headquarters.

Course and logistics

The route is approximately 6 miles (10k) on a mix of hard trails, single track and unmade ground. The course passes through ancient woodland, by historic ironworks, along riverbanks, and includes climbs, flat sections, technical single track and a notable hill climb followed by a descent to the finish. The route will be signposted and marshalled with a mid point water station and first aid cover. Runners remain responsible for their own safety and trail shoes are recommended. Race HQ is Biblins Youth Campsite, Doward, Ross-on-Wye HR9 6DX. Registration takes place at Race HQ. Toilet facilities are available; there are no shower or washing facilities. Kit bags may be left at Race HQ but the organisers do not accept responsibility for unattended items. Parking near Race HQ is limited and parking marshalls will direct vehicles.
