Monross Trailblazers - Blaze the Biblins

Monross Trailblazers - Blaze the Biblins is a trail race held on 11 October 2026 within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Britain. The course covers approximately 6 miles (about 10k) on a mixture of hard trails, single track and unmade ground. Trail shoes are recommended and participants remain responsible for their own safety.

The route, designed by runners, includes climbs, flat sections and technical single track. It starts near the Doward Youth Campsite and passes through ancient woodland, by historic ironworks and along riverbanks before a notable hill climb known as the Demon and a descent to the finish. The route will be signposted and marshalled, with a mid point water station and first aid cover.

The event runs under a Welsh Athletics Permit and UK Athletics Rules. Entry is open to runners aged 17 years and over on race day. There is an entry limit of 200 places and a waiting list will operate if the limit is reached. Entry fees are listed as £15 for affiliated runners and £17 for unaffiliated runners with a discounted period noted for members of relevant athletics associations.

Race headquarters is at Biblins Youth Campsite, Doward, Ross-on-Wye HR9 6DX. Toilet facilities are available but there are no showers. Kit bags may be left at race HQ but items are left at owners risk. Parking near the HQ is limited so car sharing is recommended and participants should follow the directions of parking marshals.
