An obstacle 5k at Herrington Country Park on 27 June 2026 where participants climb, crawl and slide through a mixed-surface course. Waves run every 15 minutes, minimum age 13, with fundraising and a finishers medal included.

A coastal out and back trail run from Sewerby to Flamborough on undulating paths with steps and stiles. The event offers 10 km, half and marathon distances, regular feed stations and food available at the Ship Inn after the race.

A long fell race near Hayfield covering 15.5 miles with 2950 ft of ascent. Registration and the start are at the Scout Hut on Swallow House Lane with entry on the day only and full FRA kit required.

A chip timed approximately 10k held on the private Mulgrave Estate near Sandsend and Whitby. The woodland route passes Mulgrave Castle with coastal views; refreshments, parking and a bespoke finisher memento are provided.

A family obstacle course of about 3 to 4 km at Bramham Park on 28 June 2026, featuring 8 to 10 obstacles for children aged 6 to 14; ages 6 and 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

A flat 5k obstacle course at Victoria Park, Warrington where participants climb, crawl and slide through muddy challenges in staggered waves. Participants must be 13 or older and meet a minimum fundraising target.

A club-organised 7 mile trail race around Trawden, passing the foothills of Boulsworth and through Wycollar. The course is about 11.3 km with 450 ft of ascent and is held at Trawden Recreation Ground under UK Athletics rules; entry £10.

A multi‑terrain 5 mile race on Tuesday 30 June 2026 around Manchester Airport runway 2, including the Bollin Tunnel, based at Wood Lane, Mobberley. Entry is online with a waiting list and proceeds go to MNDA.

A 10 km trail race through Stalybridge Country Park and local moorland. Finishers receive a local chip muffin voucher for completing this event organized by Crazy Legs Events.

July 2026

Cragg Vale on 1 July 2026 is a 4 miles (6.4 km) fell race with 244 m of climb run from the village near Cragg Vale Church. Entry on the day is £8 cash and registration and refreshments are based at Cragg Church.

A mountain fell race on 1 July 2026 from Ribblehead to the top of Whernside. The 10.5 km route climbs about 468 m, follows the old hikers route and the Three Peaks walkers path back to The Station Inn.

Take on the Hope Wakes Fell Race on 1 July 2026: a scenic 9.5 km Peak District route with 458 m of climb, starting and finishing at Hope Sportsfield. On the day entry is £8 and all profits go to local charities.

Race 2 of the Bramhall Runners Foodbank series is a 5.5 km event through Happy Valley in Bramhall, with limited online entries and proceeds donated to Stockport Foodbank. UKA members receive a discount and series entries are available.

Peak Raid Anytime Race 4 in Hartington is a MapRun series of four two hour score races across Peak District paths. Runs may be completed at any time between 1 July and 27 September 2026 and series results combine scores from all four races.

A 4 miles hill race around Winster on 2 July 2026 through lanes, trails and fields with marshals and partial tape marking. Online pre-entry is £5, on the night entry is £8 and entries are limited to 200.

A guided trail running weekend in the Peak District with bunkhouse accommodation, a 23 mile Edale Skyline route and an optional 10 km loop the next day. The terrain is rugged and a good level of fitness is required.

A circular ultramarathon of circa 120 miles and 16,000 ft across the ten highest hills of the North York Moors, starting and finishing at Goathland village hall. The event has a 35 hour time limit and a maximum of 70 participants.

An upland 31.7 km race from Muker that climbs to the Tan Hill Inn and crosses remote moorland via Coast to Coast and Pennine Way sections, with marked trails, aid stations and mandatory safety kit.

A 16 kilometre (10 mile) loop near Muker following the second half of the DR30 route, ascending Swinner Gill and returning along the River Swale. Aid stations, GPX route and a hot finishers meal are provided.

Take on the Fellrunner at Heptonstall Festival, a scenic 9.5 km fell race with about 500 m of climb in the South West Pennines. Finish to live music, food stalls and a free pint; entry on the day £7.
