Malham 10k Trail Race

The Malham 10k Trail Race is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy and takes place on 5 September 2026. The event is based at Malham Show Field, BD23 4DA. The route passes through Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with open views. The advertised distance is 10 km.

The course is partially way marked. Drinks stations will provide water and juice, and runners should bring a cup or bottle because no cups are supplied at the drinks stations. A post race meal such as pie or soup is included, along with a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and additional goodies from race sponsors. Free car parking is available at the venue and a toilet block with male and female toilets is located in the race field.

Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, and a mobile phone with the race day contact number stored plus a location app such as OS Locate or ViewRanger. The minimum entry age is 17. Prizes will be available on the day for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, open and non-binary categories, and first in V40, V50, V60 and V70+ categories. Entry fees listed are £25 for UKA members and £27 for non members, with a discount available when entering multiple events in the series.
