Malham 10k Trail Race

The Malham 10k Trail Race is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy, held on 5 September 2026 at Malham Show Field in Malham village, BD23 4DA. The event is a roughly 10 kilometre trail run through local landmarks.

The route passes Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with views. The course is partially way marked and has drinks stations offering water & juice.

Included for participants are a post race meal such as pie or soup, a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise, and goodies from race sponsors. Free car parking is provided. A toilet block with male and female toilets is available in the race field.

Runners must register at the tent in the car park to collect race numbers. Minimum age for entry is 17. Entry fees listed are UKA/TRA affiliated £25.00 and unaffiliated £27.00, with a discount if all three events in the series are entered. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for water as no cups are provided at drinks stations, and a mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate or ViewRanger.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in male and female categories, open and non binary awards, and first in V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus age groups will be available to collect on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A midweek fell race on Howgills terrain, the senior course is about 13 km with 914 m ascent, run to FRA AM rules with mandatory kit and safety cut-offs; proceeds support local community groups and mountain rescue.

Trail races at Forcett Hall on a historic estate, offering 5 km, 10 km (two laps) and a 5 km walk over pasture, tracks and woodland; trail shoes recommended and places are limited to 200 entrants.

On 18 June 2026 the Beamsley Beacon race covers 5.5 miles with about 1100 ft of climb, starting at St Peters Church Hall in Addingham and reaching the stone cairn at the Beacon. Entry is £5 and parking next to the hall is limited.

Choose either of two 50 km loops or combine both for a 100 km ultramarathon around Hebden Bridge, with distinct Red Rose moorland trails and White Rose woodland and road sections, mid-race support, vegan friendly checkpoints and GPS trackin..
