Malham 10k Trail Race

The Malham 10k Trail Race is the third event in the Due North Trail Trilogy, held on 5 September 2026 at Malham Show Field in Malham village. The route passes through Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with views.

The course is partially way marked. Drinks stations supply water and juice, and runners must bring a cup or bottle because no cups are provided at the drinks stations. A post race meal such as pie or soup is included, and finishers receive a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and goodies from race sponsors. Free car parking is available and a toilet block with male and female toilets is on the race field.

Entry fees are shown by affiliation: UKA/TRA affiliated and unaffiliated categories. Minimum age for participants is 17. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for water, and a mobile phone with the race day number stored plus a location app such as OS Locate or View ranger.

Prizes are available to collect on the day for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in male and female categories, for open and non-binary categories, and for age category winners V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A five mile country race around Carnforth using field paths, trails and a canal towpath, with on-the-night entry and proceeds to a local youth charity. The route includes several stiles and returns via the Lundsfield quarry area.

A marked high-moor fell race of about 7 miles with 1200 ft ascent across tussocky paths and bracken. The FRA-licensed non-GPS event requires mandatory kit, has a 120-runner limit, and pre-entry closes 6 July 2026.

A short evening fell relay on the Otley Chevin and Danefield terrain, run by Horsforth Fellandale. The course is about 3 miles with c. 558 ft of ascent and entries for 2026 are via an online form with a pre entry closing date.

A 10 km adventure run with cargo nets, walls, monkey bars and a water slide near the Lake District. The event is part of a village Festival of Sport and includes shorter runs and family activities.
