Ilkley Skyline is a classic fell-running challenge on the moors around Ilkley, hosted by Great Owl Running. The event offers two distances: 22 miles (35 km) with about 3,000 ft (910 m) of ascent. The loop starts and finishes outside The Hermit Inn in Burley Woodhead and traverses eight moors, including Beamsley Beacon, Round Hill, and the summits of Burley Moor, Ilkley Moor, and Rombalds Moor.

Expect mostly fell or field running with short road sections. There are checkpoints and two aid stations at Addingham (14 km) and Timble (25 km). The route is unmarked and GPX/map-based; maps/gpx are available.
