The James Herriot Run takes place on 26 July 2026. The venue is Bolton Castle, in Castle Bolton near Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Entry Information

Entry is available both in advance and on the day of the race. The pre-entry fee is £15.00, while the entry-on-day fee is £20.00. Online entry is via Bookitzone and an entry form is also available on the event website. The minimum age for participants is 18.

Teams & Records

Teams are allowed, with categories for a men's team of four, a ladies' team of four, and a mixed team of two men and one woman. The current male record is 50:42, set by Graham Rush in 2022. The female record is 58:16, set by L. Brown in 2011.
