The Cracoe Fell Races take place in Cracoe, on the B6265 between Skipton and Grassington (BD23 6LB). The venue is the park next to Jackson's of Cracoe. Parking is available in a field next to Jackson's for a fee of £3, with proceeds donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance. A gentle field section at the start includes a trailer and a wall to climb over, followed by rough ground with ditches and tussocks and a final short steep climb to the pinnacle.

Course, entries and categories

The senior course is 4.2 km (2.6 miles) with about 274 m (900 ft) of climb. The event includes junior races for Under 9, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 17 categories. Junior entry is £2, with category based on age at 1 May and a minimum age of 6 on race day. Senior minimum age is 17, with age based on 1 May. Pre-entry is available at a fee of £5 and entry on the day is also available for £5. The senior race follows the junior races.

Administration and records

The event holds a BOFRA Championship counter and has a permit with associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. Teams are not allowed. Course records include a men's time of 19:38 (2015) and a women's time of 24:12 (2012); junior bests include U17B 22:11 (2015) and U17G 24:12 (2012). A scenic but challenging 9 km fell race around reservoirs and hills of the South West Pennines from Marsden Cricket Club. Expect boggy ground, 313 m of climb, a flagged marshalled route, minimum kit and hot food at the finish.

Run scenic looped trails around historic Kirkstall Abbey, following riverside paths, woodlands and towpaths with distances from 8.8 miles up to an ultra. Expect varied terrain, friendly marshals, feed stations and a bespoke finisher medal.

Join Leeds MoRunning at Roundhay Park on 23 November 2025 with distances from 1.5k to half marathon on a scenic but hilly park and trail course. Chip timing, finisher medal and headband plus fun extras like spot prizes make it great fun.

Tackle the Black Night Scar fell race in Todmorden, a challenging evening run of 5.8 km with 315 m ascent under head torch light. Finish at the Hare and Hounds pub for refreshments and prize giving; pre and on day entry welcome.
