Groovy Baby Love is a fell race in the Peak District, England, held on Sat 5 Sep 2026. The race is a shorter option to the Groovy Kinder Love and is organised from the Scout Hut on Swallow House Lane, Hayfield, SK22 2HB. It is a Category BM event. Distance is 16 km / 9.9 miles with climb 675 m / 2215 ft. Competitors must be at least 18 years old. The event carries a permit and UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. Skills listed for the course are ER, LK, NS.

Entry, route and safety

Pre-entry is available and entry on the day is allowed. Fees are £10.00 for pre-entry and £12.00 for entry on the day. There is a single entry process covering both the Groovy and Baby routes; the race limit is 200 runners and teams are not permitted. Junior races are not offered. The baby route omits Jacob's Ladder, Three Knolls, Sandy Heys, William Clough and Lygatehead Moor compared with the full Groovy course.

There is a 100% kit check and mandatory equipment includes a waterproof whole-body cover with taped seams, hat and gloves, map and compass, whistle and emergency food.
