Burnsall Fell Race

The Burnsall Fell Race is a short fell race held in Burnsall village, Wharfedale, on the B6160 between Grassington and Addingham (BD23 6BS). The route rises through fields and includes a short steep climb through heather to a cairn, continues along the summit to a trig point, and then descends, often directly over the edge. Parking is usually in a nearby field and is charged at £3 per car.

The event includes both junior and senior races. Junior categories run include Under 9, Under 12, Under 14, and Under 17; the minimum age for junior entry is 6 on the day and junior entry fee is £2. The senior race follows the junior races. Senior entry is available on the day for a fee of £5; there is no pre-entry.
