Burnsall Fell Race

Burnsall Fell Race is scheduled for Sunday 6th September 2026 in Burnsall village, Wharfedale. The course begins with a steady climb through fields, followed by a short steep climb through heather to a cairn. Runners continue along the summit to a trig point before descending, commonly straight over the edge.

Team relay at Golden Acre Park in Leeds on 14 July 2026 where teams of three run three laps of 2.75 miles on an undulating trail. Entry was limited to 150 teams and places are full.

A 26 km trail Metric Marathon starting and finishing in Hebden Bridge, running out to Stoodley Pike and back. The course is waymarked with marshals, a halfway checkpoint, a water station at the turnaround and baggage storage; all finishers..

A classic AM fell race in Ingleton held during the town gala, covering 11 km 6.8 mi with 600 m of ascent. The route uses public footpaths to the Ingleborough summit and returns to the village.

A 50 miles, 5,500 ft circuit through Wensleydale and Swaledale with an ascent of Great Shunner Fell. Walkers and runners complete the route within 22 hours; electronic trackers are used and participants must be 18 or older.
