Course and logistics

The route climbs steadily through fields, then includes a short steep section through heather to a cairn, continues along the summit to a trig point and then returns downhill, often directly over the edge. Car parking is usually in a field accessed via a farm track opposite the main village car park. Parking cost is £3 per car. Entry and categories

Entry on the day is available for seniors at a fee of £5. Pre-entry is not available. Junior races are held with category entry of £2.
