Ingleton Three Counties Fell Race is a new long-distance fell race set for Saturday 6 September 2025, starting and finishing at Mealbank Hall in Ingleton. The route covers about 31.5 km (19.5 miles) with roughly 1,580 m (5,184 ft) of climbing, looping through the watershed that links Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. Runners navigate rough open fell terrain from Mealbank Hall toward Gragareth, along a ridge to Green Hill, up Whernside, then to Ribblehead and Ingleborough before returning to Ingleton. Registered with the Fell Runners Association as an A-Long event, it emphasizes navigation and rugged conditions, with no route recces advised.
