The Great Longstone Chase is a fell race in the Peak District, England, held at the Recreation Ground, Great Longstone (DE45 1TZ, grid reference SK201716). The course distance is 7.7 km / 4.8 miles with 290 m of climb. The event carries a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the Fell Runners Association (FRA). The minimum age for the main race is 16. Teams are not allowed.

Entry, categories and facilities

Main race entry is by pre-registration only, with a pre-entry fee of £9 and a field limited to 200 runners; there are no entries on the day for the main race. Junior races are provided for younger age groups: FRA U8 1 km and U10 and U12 2 km; junior entry on the day is £2. The event lists course records of 27:01 (male, 2018) and 31:21 (female, 2007).
