Peak Raid Race 3 Eastern Moors
Peak Raid Race 3 is part of a series of four three hour fell races and takes place on 15 November 2026 in the Eastern Moors and Burbage Valley area. The event uses a score format and SiTiming; competitors are given a waterproof map and a control description with points values at the start and have three hours to visit controls and collect points.
The terrain covers Peak District hills, moors and dales and requires route choice and navigation skills. Competitors may compete solo or as pairs; pairs are placed in an age category based on the older runner. Age is determined as at 31/12/2026 and the minimum age for entry is 14. There is a Parent or Guardian & Under 18 category where the junior must be accompanied by a parent or appointed adult over 21.
The FRA Mandatory Minimum Kit must be carried or worn and will be checked. Required items include waterproof whole body cover (jacket and trousers with taped seams and attached hood), hat, gloves, route map (provided), compass, whistle, emergency food and a survival bag.
Prizes require completion of at least two races in the series; 1st to 3rd places are awarded in each category, with only 1st awarded where six or fewer entries exist. Dogs are not allowed on account of landowner conditions, FRA recommendations and risk to wildlife, livestock and other competitors. Entry fees vary by date and FRA members receive a £2 reduction.
