Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 1/3
This event is a trail 5 km race held around a route off the Pennine Bridleway at Clowbridge Reservoir. The race uses a two lap course run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road in Burnley, BB11 5PF. The course is described as fast and flat with about 25 m of elevation over the 5 km distance.
The race is the first of a three race autumn series on 3rd Sept, 10th Sept and 17th Sept 2026. It is open to runners aged 11 and over. Prizes are awarded in each race and the field is described as well marshalled. Parking is available locally, including the lower car park at the Sailing Club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
The series is organised by RunJMC and monies from the series will be donated to local causes. The event notes that RunJMC licensing under ARC is pending. Entry details and fees are handled through the event entry system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
