Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 1/3
The event is a trail 5k held around a route off the Pennine Bridleway at Clowbridge Reservoir. The course is run as two laps of the trail path around the reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley BB11 5PF. The route has about 25 metres of elevation over the 5 km distance.
This meeting is the first of a three race autumn series taking place on Thursdays on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026. The race is open to participants aged 11 and over. Entry fee is £6.50 and entries are listed as open from 21 March 2026 and closing on 2 September 2026.
Races are described as well marshalled and prizes are provided in each race. Local parking is available with a lower car park at the sailing club and Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir.
