Cressbrook Crawl on Saturday 9 May 2026 invites runners to tackle the Peak District in a 10.5 km fell race with 400 m of climb from Cressbrook Club. Pre entry is required, so sign up early for a scenic and gritty hill challenge.

Trail run near Scorton, Preston offering 10k and 15k courses across tracks and fields up to Nicky Nook with views over Lancashire. Both routes are fully marked; the 10k has one checkpoint and the 15k has two.

Trunce 3 at Oxspring Playing Field on Mon 11 May 2026 offers a scenic but hilly 6.2 km senior race with 190 m of climb in the Peak District. Entry on the day is £3 with a 3 km over 10 junior race included, part of an eight race series.

Take on the classic Shining Tor fell race in the Peak District on 13 May 2026, a scenic 9.4 km challenge with 311 m of climb. Expect rough trails, great views and a friendly fell running atmosphere for adults of all abilities.

Evening trail races at Constable Burton Hall on 14 May 2026 offering 5km run, 5km walk and a 10km run across pasture, tracks and woodland. The course is marked and includes water stations, parking and post race food options.

A 10K or 10 Mile trail race across Holcombe Moor on 16 May 2026, starting at the Hare & Hounds in Holcombe Brook. Organised by The Sunnywood Project with the National Trust. The event has been cancelled.

A 50k brewery to brewery ultra on 16 May 2026 around Nottinghamshire starting and finishing at Milestone Brewery & Tap in Cromwell. Checkpoints are every 6 to 8 miles, there is a 10 hour cut off and places are limited to 175 runners.

A multi-distance trail event from Skipton with routes on the Dales High Way, River Aire Ultra and Pennine Way, visiting Malham Tarn and Gordale Scar; ultramarathon courses offer trackers and UTMB qualification points.

Tackle the Mark Boulton Memorial Mount Famine fell race in the Peak District on Sat 16 May 2026. This testing 8 km course climbs 564 m and rewards strength, skill and grit on rough moorland.

A trail half marathon of about 13.2 miles around Black Hambleton and Silton Woods near Osmotherley, with marked navigation, one checkpoint and a 3.5 hour time limit. Entry is limited to 50 and all finishers receive a medal and certificate.

A single-loop 26.2 mile walk/run around Alstonefield with about 4,800 feet of ascent, six manned checkpoints and food at the finish. The event raises funds for local causes and is open to walkers and runners aged 14 or older.

A 9.3 km fell race around Youlgrave in the Peak District featuring rough trails, climbs, limestone descents and a swamp. Entry is limited, the fee is £6, and all profits go to Youlgrave Parish Council.
