Punk Panther Dales Dazzler

Punk Panther Dales Dazzler is a trail running event based in Skipton. The route leaves Skipton and heads west to meet the Pennine Way near Pinhaw Beacon, then passes Thornton in Craven, Gargrave and Malham Tarn, continues via Arncliffe and Starbotton on the Dales Way, and goes through Kettlewell, Grassington and Burnsall before returning to Skipton via Embsay.

The event offers multiple course lengths and associated climb and ranking details:

Approximate climb for the courses is 1500, 2200, 4200 and 7600 feet respectively. ITRA points are listed as 1, 1, 2 and 3 by distance; UTMB qualification codes are Q20K, Q20K, Q50K and Q100K respectively. Minimum age to enter is 18 years and the event has a maximum field of 200 entrants.

Ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile entrants can hire a tracker for a fee. Checkpoints provide water, coke and a range of snacks including vegan and gluten free options. The 50 mile course allows a non returnable drop bag at registration to be transferred to a midrace checkpoint. Competitors are required to carry a specified minimum kit; random kit checks will be carried out. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out.
