Punk Panther Dales Dazzler

Punk Panther Dales Dazzler is a trail running event based in Skipton that uses high ground around Wharfedale and sections of the Pennine Way and the Dales Way. The route links fell and valley paths and passes through towns and villages in the Dales.

Distances:

  • 13 miles (approximate climb 1,500 ft; ITRA 1; UTMB Q20K)
  • 20 miles (approximate climb 2,200 ft; ITRA 1; UTMB Q20K)
  • 34 miles (approximate climb 4,200 ft; ITRA 2; UTMB Q50K)
  • 50 miles (approximate climb 7,600 ft; ITRA 3; UTMB Q100K)

The course departs from Skipton and heads west to join the Pennine Way near Pinhaw Beacon, then passes Thornton in Craven, Gargrave, Malham Tarn, Arncliffe and Starbotton before following the Dales Way through Kettlewell, Grassington and Burnsall to Barden Bridge and returning to Skipton via Embsay. Routes will be taped or signed except the 50 mile route; competitors should not rely solely on tapes for navigation.

Checkpoints provide water, soft drinks, energy bars and snacks including vegan and gluten free options. All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile runners can hire a tracker for a fee. A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks will be carried out on course. Every finisher is awarded a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. Skipton Skedaddle is a trail event from Skipton with distances from 14 to 52.4 miles, visiting Malham Tarn and Gordale Scar. Ultramarathon entrants receive trackers and checkpoints offer food with vegan and gluten free options.

A 5.2 mile fell race with about 1,200 ft of ascent from Appletreewick to Simons Seat and back. Entry costs £10 and includes a drink to be taken at the finish; the event is for over 18s.

The Holcombe 10 offers *10K* and *10 Mile* trail routes across Holcombe Moor, passing Peel Tower and Redisher Woods. Water stations are at Peel Tower and the National Trust ranger base and proceeds support The Sunnywood Project.

A community multi-terrain 10 km trail run in Cookridge, Leeds on Sunday 17 May 2026. The single lap route passes Paul’s Pond and Golden Acre Park, includes a grass hill and woodland sections, and all participants receive a CC10K t-shirt.
