Punk Panther Dales Dazzler

Punk Panther Dales Dazzler is a trail race that sets off from Skipton and covers high ground around Wharfedale and the eastern Pennines. The route meets the Pennine Way and the Dales Way and passes through places including Pinhaw Beacon, Thornton in Craven, Gargrave, Malham Tarn, Arncliffe, Starbotton, Kettlewell, Grassington, Burnsall, Barden Bridge and Embsay. Routes are taped or signed for most distances but competitors are advised not to rely solely on tapes for navigation.

The event has a maximum of 200 entrants and a minimum age of 18. Checkpoints along the route provide water, cola, energy bars and crisps plus vegan and gluten free snacks. All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; half marathon and 20 mile entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. Drop bags are permitted for the 50 mile course and will be transferred to a designated checkpoint.

A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random checks may be carried out on course; failure to carry required kit can lead to disqualification. Support crews must avoid official checkpoints. Finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out. A Category AS fell race of 4 miles / 6.4 km with 350 m ascent around Punstock Road green in Darwen, featuring three climbs including Jacob’s Mound and Aggies Staircase and a looped route returning past Robin Hoods cottage.

A Category AS fell race of 7.5 km with 375 m ascent around Todmorden, based at The Hare and Hound pub. Minimum age 16, full FRA kit required; refreshments and prize giving are held in the pub.

A short, club organised fell race on 24 June 2026 in Brushes Clough Country Park near Shaw, Oldham. The **6.1 km** course crosses moorland and forest trails, requires specific safety kit and navigational awareness, and is pre entry only.

An evening pop up running event in Kirkstall offering 5k and 10k options, on-site food and drinks, and a jumble medal for all finishers. Entry can be paid on the day or online with fees listed between £12 and £17.
