Race details

The route starts and finishes in Skipton and runs west to meet the Pennine Way near Pinhaw Beacon, then through Gargrave to Malham Tarn, on to Arncliffe, joining the Dales Way at Starbotton and continuing via Kettlewell, Grassington, Burnsall and Barden Bridge before returning via Embsay. Checkpoints supply water, cola, energy bars, crisps and vegan and gluten free snacks. Cut-offs at checkpoints are enforced and runners arriving after a checkpoint closes will be retired.

All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; 20 mile and half marathon entrants can hire a tracker for £15. A drop bag service is available for the 50 mile race (transferred to Malham Tarn, carrier-bag size). Finishers receive a medal and event T-shirt and hot food options are provided.
