Route and race details
The route starts and finishes in Skipton and passes Gargrave, Malham, Malham Tarn, Arncliffe, Starbotton, Kettlewell, Grassington, Burnsall, Barden Bridge and Embsay. Checkpoints provide water, coke, energy bars, crisps and vegan and gluten free snacks. GPX files and a route description are available from the organiser and a final version will be emailed with competitor instructions. All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; shorter-distance runners can hire a tracker for a fee. Routes will be taped or signed except the 50 mile route. A mandatory kit list applies to all distances and random kit checks will be carried out on course. Drop bags are allowed only for the 50 mile course.
