Kirkstall Rock up n' Run

The Kirkstall Rock up n' Run is a seasonal event organized by It's Grim Up North Running as part of their Summer Series. Located in Leeds, the event base is situated on Wyther Lane next to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. This location is approximately a two-minute walk from the Bridge Shopping Centre at the junction of Wyther Lane and Broad Lane.

Participants can choose between two race distances:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km

The event is designed with flexible entry options, allowing runners to either pre-book online or register in person on the day of the evening races. Participation is open to runners aged 16 and over.

The race environment utilizes the local infrastructure near the canal, with parking available at the nearby Morrisons car park. After completing their distance, all runners receive a jumble medal. A ten mile memorial race featuring 1447 feet of elevation over moorland and tracks. Choose between a standard run or a weighted military style TAB to support the Royal Marines and Fire Fighters charities.
