The Hebden Sports is a fell running event with separate junior and senior races. It takes place on Monday, 31st August 2026.
Race Details
The senior race covers a distance of 1.50 miles (3.20 km) with 400 feet (244 meters) of climb. The course starts in the Show Field, goes out onto the road and round back lanes, followed by a steep climb up the fell. It continues along the top before descending, with runners negotiating a few walls and streams. The finish is uphill.
Junior fell races are scheduled to start at 3:30pm, with the senior race starting no earlier than 4:30pm.
Location and Access
The event is held at Powder House Field in Hebden, postcode BD23 5DE. The site is located on the B6265 between Grassington and Pateley Bridge. Car parking at the sports field costs £5, with an additional £1 charge for adults to enter the field.
