Hardmoors 26.2 Roseberry Trail Races : Roseberry Topping

Hardmoors 26.2 Roseberry Trail Races take place on Sunday 30th August 2026 from a venue at Sea Cadets Hall, Belmangate, Guisborough TS14 7AQ. The event is held under an ARC permit (ARC 26/0110) and has a participant limit of 330.

Three distances are offered:

  • Trail Marathon 30 with 4,850 feet ascent and a 10 hour time limit
  • Half Marathon 14.5 with 3,200 feet ascent and a 5 hour time limit
  • 10k 9 with 1,600 feet ascent and a 3 hour time limit

Entries include a £1 donation to the Cleveland Way National Trail and prices vary by distance and UKA affiliation. Entries open in late 2025 for voucher holders and general entry and close on 14th August 2026. Parking at the registration venue is very limited and nearby car parks should be used.

The courses are not taped or signed; competitors must download and print route descriptions and maps and are responsible for their own navigation. GPX files and route maps are provided. The event is cupless so participants should carry a personal cup for checkpoint drinks. A set of mandatory safety kit must be carried by all competitors and a headtorch is required for the marathon. Foot sweepers and marshals are deployed on the course and designated prize categories are awarded after finishers complete the races. Trail runs nearby

Trail races from Chop Gate with three distances : Marathon (28), Half 16.5 and 10k 9.5. Entries limited to 330, mandatory safety kit is required and competitors must print route maps and navigate themselves.

Trail races at Forcett Hall on a historic estate, offering 5 km, 10 km (two laps) and a 5 km walk over pasture, tracks and woodland; trail shoes recommended and places are limited to 200 entrants.

An all night trail run across the North York Moors starting and finishing at Goathland Village Hall. Entrants receive a tracker, a GPX route and checkpoint support with food and drinks, and all finishers receive a Lamplighter medal.

A night trail run of about 20 miles from Goathland Village Hall across the North York Moors, held from sunset to sunrise with trackers, checkpoints and on-course refreshments. Entrants have 6.5 hours to complete the circular route.
