Approximate ascent for the three races is 4850, 3200 and 1600 feet respectively. Time limits are 10 hours for the trail marathon, 5 hours for the half marathon and 3 hours for the 10k. Entry is limited to 400 competitors. Entries open for general entry on 2 November 2025 and close on 14 August 2026. Published entry fees start from £28 and differ by distance and affiliation status.

Routes are not taped or signed; competitors must navigate using the downloadable route descriptions, maps and GPX files and are requested to carry printed copies. There will be foot sweepers and marshalls at road crossings. The event requires mandatory safety kit to be carried for all distances, including a waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, survival bag and a printed route description; additional items are specified for the full marathon.
