The published entry fee is £20.
Entrants must carry mandatory kit and will sign a disclaimer confirming they have it. Required items include a waterproof jacket with taped seams unless Paramo, hat or buff or gloves, an emergency bivvy bag, a charged mobile phone with mapping if possible, at least 500 ml of fluid and 120 g of emergency food, a working compass and the OS Explorer 26 or Harvey’s North Yorkshire Moors map. There may be spot checks and anyone without the mandatory equipment may be withdrawn.
