MindOverMoors presents the Glaisdale Gallop, a not-for-profit trail race in Glaisdale, Whitby, North Yorkshire. The 5.5-mile route climbs through the village’s scenic trails and surrounding countryside, with around 1,000 feet of ascent and views that reward the effort. The course is well marked and features a single friendly checkpoint offering basic refreshments.

In addition to the run, there’s family fun at the cricket club, including a kids’ colour run. All proceeds go to the local Glaisdale village school, with a post-race BBQ on site. Event location: Glaisdale Cricket Club, Whitby.

Join the Hardmoors 15 on 3 January 2026 for a scenic 17.5 mile circular trail from Robin Hood's Bay along the Cinder Track and Cleveland Way. Limited to 150 runners, this winter coastal challenge rewards finishers with a medal and tech tee.

Scarborough Rock offers scenic 26 and 16 mile coastal and moorland routes from Scalby Parish Hall, passing Oliver's Mount. Popular LDWA event with checkpoints, food and a finishers meal; currently full with a waiting list.
