The Hardmoors 15 takes place on Saturday 3 January 2026 and uses Fylingdales Village Hall, Robin Hood's Bay as the race venue. Course, cutoffs and rules

The route starts and finishes at Robin Hood's Bay and passes three checkpoints: Station Road, Ravenscar (around 4.5 miles), Hayburn Wyke (about 8 miles), then back through Station Road, Ravenscar (about 12.5 miles) before the finish at Fylingdales Village Hall (about 17.5 miles). Aid at checkpoints includes food, water and cola. Runners and walkers have an overall time limit of 8 hours to complete the course and must pass checkpoints within the organiser's cutoff times.

Mandatory kit must be carried for the duration of the event and includes hat and gloves, a waterproof jacket with taped seams, at least 500 ml water or sports drink, whistle, map and route description, survival bag, foil blanket, mobile phone, a cup for drinks and means to attach a race bib. On finishing, participants receive a race medal and a Hardmoors technical T-shirt. £1.00 from each entry is donated to the Cleveland Way National Trail.
