The Winter Trail Runs at Dalby Forest take place on 30 November 2025 at Adderstone Field, Low Dalby, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 7LT. The event offers three distances and open registration dates from 06/12/2024 to 27/11/2025.

Course, facilities and rules

Routes mainly follow forest fire roads and run through Dalby Forest, a Forestry England site on the southern slopes of the North York Moors with over 8,500 acres of woodland. The Marathon uses two laps of the Half Marathon route; route maps are provided for the 10km and Half Marathon.

Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. The event is canicross friendly: one well-controlled dog per runner is allowed and dogs must remain on a lead at all times. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, snacks and drinks. Subsidised parking is available with payment made after the event at Forestry England pay machines.
