The event on 29th November 2026 offers Trail Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km races set within Dalby Forest on the southern slopes of the North York Moors. Routes mainly follow forest fire roads and provide views across the North York Moors.

The event location is Adderstone Field in Dalby Forest, Low Dalby, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, North Yorkshire, YO18 7LT. Route maps are provided for the 10km and half marathon routes. The marathon comprises two laps of the half marathon route.

The event is canicross friendly with one well controlled dog per runner and dogs must remain on a lead at all times. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and snacks and drinks. A circa 37 mile self-navigated ultra from Goathland visiting five Triangulation Pillars, open to solo participants or pairs. Competitors follow public rights of way, visit checkpoints in order and must carry mandatory navigation and safety..

Circular trail races from Swainby Village Hall with 7 mile and 16 mile options through moorland and forest. Marked routes, feed stations, checkpoints and downloadable GPS files.

Experience a 50 km circular ultra trail through the scenic dry valleys and villages of the Yorkshire Wolds with full checkpoint support and live GPS tracking.

Run through the North York Moors at the Heartbeat Hobble in Goathland, an 11.9 km fell with 290 m of climb. Entry on the day and a village hall finish create a friendly spring fell outing.
