A flat out and back on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal towpath from Granary Wharf, offering distances from 10K to ultra marathon with regular feed stations and Trail Running Association licensing.

Fully marked trail races of 10k and half marathon around Pitsford Water, starting at Brixworth Country Park, with village sections on the half, on-course water stations, mandatory cupless kit, prizes and free race photos.

A night-time trail 10 km at Coombe Abbey Park, Coventry where a head torch is required and Petzl may offer demo lamps. The route runs through woodland and meadow with basic on-site facilities and parking.

A guided trail half marathon in the Chiltern Hills covering about 13 miles with 300 m of ascent, group-led by qualified run leaders and including a refreshment point, finisher's medal and Trees not Tees certificate.

Trail running at Harrold-Odell Country Park in Bedfordshire on 13 March 2027 with 25km and 50km options. Early bird and standard entry fees are published and the event is organised by Thunder Races.

A 13.98 km fell race in Hayfield, Peak District, with 451 m of climb, held at Hayfield Primary School. Pre-entry and on-the-day entry are available; funds support the school and donations are made to Kinder Mountain Rescue.

A 21 mile running and walking challenge through the Peak District held each March. Entries usually open in November and often sell out, with places sometimes freed by cancellations. The 2027 event marks the 30th anniversary.

Forest trail races at Sherwood Pines on 14 March 2027 offering 20 mile, half marathon, 10k and a junior run. Multi terrain undulating routes with route maps and GPX files, bespoke medals, free photos and prizes.

A looped trail event at High Lodge Thetford Forest offering distances from 5k to ultra marathon, lap-based formats, on course aid at the lap point, medal options and refreshments at Oak Lodge. Part of entry fees support forest upkeep.

A supported, well-marked 50 mile trail race from Manchester to Liverpool along the Trans-Pennine Trail with six checkpoints, live GPS tracking and a 14 hour cut-off; the event is licensed by the Trail Running Association.

A single-loop 100 mile ultramarathon across the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB with about 8,000 ft of elevation, six aid stations, a 36 hour cut-off, and a strict field limit of 150 runners.

Peak Rail 7 pits runners against a steam hauled heritage train on the route from Rowsley South to Matlock Riverside and back. The course uses shared trails with marshals, on site parking, and post race photos and results published online.
