Roundhay 50
Roundhay 50 is a Long Distance Walkers Association challenge event organised by the West Yorkshire local group in Northern England. It takes place on Sat 20th - Sun 21st Feb 2027 and covers 50 miles with a 22 hour time limit.
The route starts at St Andrews Roundhay United Reformed Church, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leeds LS8 1DS. The course consists of two loops around rural north Leeds and visits, among other locations, Temple Newsam, Meanwood Valley and the Harewood Estate. The event uses mapped rights of way and large scale digital mapping.
Entry fees differ for members and non members with LDWA members charged £35.00 and non LDWA entrants £50.00. Online entry is available.
Accommodation options are listed within 20 km of the event, including Otley, Baildon and Burley in Wharfedale, with distances of approximately 14 km, 17 km and 18 km respectively. The event is classified as a challenge event and is part of the LDWA programme of long distance walks that are to be completed within defined time limits.
