Roundhay 50
Roundhay 50 is a Long Distance Walkers Association challenge event organised by the West Yorkshire local group. The route covers 50 miles with a published time limit of 22 hours and consists of two loops through rural north Leeds.
The walk starts and finishes at St Andrews Roundhay United Reformed Church, Shaftesbury Avenue, Leeds LS8 1DS, grid reference SE321383. The course passes, among other locations, Temple Newsam, Meanwood Valley and the Harewood Estate, offering varied countryside and parkland on each loop.
Registration is organised at the event and there is a later start aimed at faster walkers and runners; early starts are not permitted. Online entry is available. Entry fees are listed as £35 for LDWA members and £50 for non LDWA members.
