Pitsford Water Trail Races

Pitsford Water Trail Races are fully marked and marshaled trail events based at Brixworth Country Park, using trails and tracks around Pitsford Water. The event offers two distances and runs across country paths and village lanes. The half marathon route passes through the villages of Holcot, Hannington, Walgrave, Old and Scaldwell and includes a number of stiles between fields.

• 10k: trail route around Pitsford Water, returning along the causeway.
• Half Marathon: longer trail route visiting local villages listed above.
• Entries are priced at £25 for the 10k and £30 for the half marathon.
• Minimum ages on race day: 16 for the 10k, 17 for the half marathon.
• Race cut off time is four hours for both distances.
• Dogs are not permitted on the course.
• Entries and transfers close seven days before the event.

On-course support includes professional first aid at race HQ with access to the course and Race Harborough volunteers operating water stations. Water stations are positioned on the half marathon route and one appears on the 10k route; water will also be available at the finish. The event is cupless so participants must bring their own cup. Trail shoes or shoes with grip are advisable. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race and all finishers receive a race medal.
