Pitsford Water Trail Races
Race Harborough stages fully marked and marshaled trail races over two distances from Brixworth Country Park around Pitsford Water. The event offers:
- 10k
- Half marathon
Both routes follow trails and tracks around the reservoir. The half marathon passes through the villages of Holcot, Hannington, Walgrave, Old, and Scaldwell and includes several stiles between fields. The 10k runs across the dam and along the causeway to return to the country park. Water is provided at the finish.
On-course support includes professional first aid at the start and finish and access to runners on course. Race Harborough volunteers provide hydration at three water stations on the half marathon route and one water station on the 10k route. No in-ear headphones are allowed; bone conduction style headphones are permitted.
Entries are priced at £27 for the 10k and £32 for the half marathon. Minimum ages on race day are 16 for the 10k and 17 for the half marathon. The race cut off time is four hours for both races. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event.
Trail shoes or shoes with grip are recommended. Mandatory items include a fully charged mobile phone and a personal cup because the races are cupless.
