  • Half Marathon

The 10k returns along the causeway and track beside Pitsford Water to the finish at the country park. The half marathon extends onto local village trails, passing Holcot, Hannington, Walgrave, Old and Scaldwell, and includes a number of stiles between fields.

Race support includes professional first aid at the start and finish and course access for responders. Race Harborough volunteers provide hydration: three water stations on the half marathon at approximately miles 3, 6.5 and 9.5, and one on the 10k at about mile 3. Water is also available at the finish. No in-ear headphones are permitted; bone conduction devices that do not sit in the ear are allowed.

Mandatory items include a fully charged mobile phone with the Race Director and Race Medic numbers for the half marathon, and a personal cup as races are cupless. Trail shoes or shoes with good grip are advisable. Minimum ages are 16 for the 10k and 17 for the half marathon. Entries close seven days before the event and both races have a four hour cut off. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and all finishers receive a medal. The event supports local foodbanks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
