Thetford Festival of Running takes place at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon, IP27 0AF. The organisers have exclusive use of the main area and plenty of open space for the event, which is returning for a second year.

Distances offered include:

• 5 km
• 10 km
• Half Marathon
• Full Marathon
• Ultra Marathon

The route uses a 5 km loop within the grounds of Thetford Forest. The course is mainly pathway with a small section of trails and woodland; the final route is to be confirmed. A heavy half marathon is set as five laps by standard, with options to change to six or seven laps on the day. The ultra marathon is set as nine laps by standard, with the possibility of additional laps up to twelve according to available time. The event has time cut-offs, including six-hour and four-hour limits for different starts.

An aid station with water is located at the lap point. Registration and post-race refreshments are based adjacent to Oak Lodge, where teas, coffee and cake are provided on completion. The event is cupless so participants should bring cups or bottles for refilling. Parking is discounted to £5 for participants with a QR code.
