The Thetford Festival of Running returns for its second year at High Lodge within Thetford Forest. This event takes place in an enclosed forest setting near Brandon, utilizing a 5 km loop course. The terrain consists primarily of pathways with small sections of woodland and trails. The course is described as mainly flat with occasional rises.

Participants can choose from a wide range of distances using the looped course:

A central aid station with water and food is located at the lap point, allowing runners to refill throughout the event. Registration is based at Oak Lodge, where participants receive complimentary tea, coffee, and cake after finishing. Discounted parking is available on-site for those taking part. Each runner receives a medal upon completion, with options for either a bespoke event medal or a "lucky dip" selection from previous races.
