Great Barrow Challenge Day 1

The Great Barrow Challenge Day 1 is an individual day entry held at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds IP29 5AX. This entry covers the Day 1 route named Denham Flats and is part of a 10 day series with different routes on other days. Routes are subject to change.

The course terrain is described as flat to undulating trail. Race headquarters and the lap point are located at the start; a base camp at that location contains a water and aid station. The event operates cupless refill stations so participants should bring their own bottle or cup. Bespoke medals are provided at the end of the race each day. Parking is included in the entry price.

A community running event in Hadleigh on 25 Apr 2026 with approximate 9.5-mile and 4.5-mile courses, staggered starts, and fundraising for the Shelley Centre for Therapeutic Riding.
