Colne Valley Path Marathon

The Colne Valley Path Marathon follows the Colne Valley Path along trails through Great Yeldham and past the mighty oak, finishing on the Cymbeline meadows in Colchester. The event base is Stambourne Village Hall, Church Road, Stambourne CO9 4NP.

Navigation is self guided. Route materials will be provided as a GPX file or as written instructions available for download nearer to the event. Fully stocked aid stations and checkpoints are placed at regular intervals of approx 10 km.

A pre race shuttle will transfer participants to the start to allow parking at the finish; this shuttle must be selected and purchased during registration. Parking and toilets are available at both the start and the finish. The marathon has a cut off time of 7.5 hours.

Entry is listed at £29.50. To reduce the entry fee, entrants may choose not to receive a medal; medals must be selected and paid for during registration and may not be available on the day. The event is cupless, so participants must provide their own cup or purchase a collapsible speedcup for £2.50 during registration or on race day.
