Course and format

The course is a trail event that includes tarmac paths and grassland. The route starts in the base camp area at Hyde Hall Farm and uses laps around the grounds. A heavy half marathon is set as 5 laps by default, with the option to change to 6 or 7 laps on the day. The ultra marathon is set as 9 laps by default, with the option to increase up to 12 laps depending on time available. The event uses time cut offs, including a six-hour and a four-hour cut off for different start groups.

Facilities and logistics

There is a water aid station at the lap point. Parking is included and described as secure on site, with an attendant to direct parking and the way to the start area. A baggage area is provided.
