Moo-rathon, Calf and Hen K - Hyde Hall Farm

The Moo-rathon, Calf and Hen K is a trail running event at Hyde Hall Farm, Buntingford, SG9 0RU. The venue is self-contained with exclusive use of the main area and a base camp from which the route starts and loops through the farm grounds and surrounding open space.

A heavy half marathon is set as five laps by default, with the option to change to six or seven laps on the day. The ultra marathon is nine laps by default, with the option to increase up to twelve laps depending on time available. The event uses time cut-offs, including a six-hour overall cut-off and a four-hour cut-off for later starts.

The course mixes trail, grassland and some tarmac paths. There is a water aid station at the lap point. Parking is included and secure on site, with an attendant to direct vehicles and to point runners toward number collection. A baggage area is provided for warm clothes and shoes. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or, where available, a lucky dip from previous medals. The event is cupless, so participants should bring cups or bottles for refilling. Follow the 82 mile Essex Way trail from Epping tube station to the historic high lighthouse in Harwich. This ultra marathon features mixed terrain and 3,469 feet of elevation with full GPS tracking and five checkpoints.

A volunteer-run running event in Willingham, Cambridgeshire with chip timing on flat country roads, footpaths and bridleways. Distances include 10 km and 6.5 km and children's races follow the main events.
