Galloping Grind 10k Trail Run

Boreham, United Kingdom • 1 Apr 2026

Event Overview

The Galloping Grind 10k Trail Run is an Easter Egg edition event. It celebrates the reopening of the Galloping Grind for the 2026 season.

Event Details

The event is a single-distance 10 km trail run. The course is predominately anti-clockwise. A tail jogger sweeps the course, and a finish line timer is provided. The race organizers may use manual timing. Participants must wear their race number unfolded on the front to have a time recorded. The course route is available on Strava.

Additional Information

It is suggested runners wear high-visibility or reflective clothing, as it is a dusk race. Carrying a mobile phone for In Case of Emergency (ICE) is compulsory, and headtorches are suggested. Limited edition t-shirts are available for all participants. Parking on-site is limited; participants are asked to follow marshals' instructions, cycle over, or car-share.

Post-Race

An egg hunt is included; a runner's official finish time is only recorded after finding an egg. After recording their finish time, participants can hand in their number at a horsebox to claim a hot chocolate, hot tea, and other prepared food. Results are posted to the organizer's website within 48 hours. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
