Galloping Grind 10k Trail Run

Boreham, United Kingdom • 1 Apr 2026

Event details

The event is the 3rd Galloping Grind 10k trail run (Easter Egg Edition) on 01 April 2026. The run is a trail race of 10k and marks the reopening of the Galloping Grind for the 2026 season. TRA permit number is listed as TBC. Total places are 30 and the event status is open.

Race information and logistics

The course runs predominantly anti-clockwise. The organisers describe the race as a dusk event and suggest wearing high-visibility or reflective clothing. Carrying a mobile phone with ICE details and a headtorch is compulsory. Limited parking is available onsite; marshals will direct parking and participants are encouraged to cycle or car-share.

Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded. Manual timing may be used, so numbers must be visible at the finish for a time to be recorded. A tail jogger will sweep the course and a finish line timer will be in place. Results will be posted to the organiser’s website within 48 hours.

There is an egg hunt at the finish; the official finish time is recorded only after a participant finds an egg and returns to the finish officials. Participants hand in their race numbers at a horsebox to claim hot drinks and other food. A limited edition T-shirt is provided to all participants. The route is available as a GPX/Strava route.
