Galloping Grind 10k Trail Run

Boreham, United Kingdom • 2 Apr 2026

The 3rd Galloping Grind 10k trail run (Easter Egg Edition!)

The event is a trail run of 10 km, held as an Easter Egg edition to mark the reopening of the Galloping Grind for the 2026 season. The route is predominately anti-clockwise and is run at dusk, so reflective or high-visibility clothing is suggested. The TRA permit number is listed as TBC. Entry is limited to 30 places and the event status is open.

Race information and logistics

Participants will receive a start list by email before the run with race number information, maps and a course narrative. Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded, because manual timing may be used and numbers must be visible for a time to be recorded. Carrying a mobile phone with ICE details and a headtorch is compulsory. There is limited onsite parking; cycling or car-sharing is suggested. A limited edition T-shirt is provided to all participants. After finishing, runners hand in their number at the horsebox to claim hot drinks and food. An egg hunt is part of the finish procedure; official finish time is recorded only once a participant finds an egg. A tail jogger will sweep the course and a finish-line timer will be used. Results will be posted to the organiser’s website within 48 hours. Entry prices listed are £19 and £20 at specified dates; a service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
