Run the Borders follows the waymarked Borders Abbey Way around the Scottish Borders, visiting four ruined abbeys. It offers a full 109K, a 50K and a four person relay with checkpoints, drop bags and mandatory kit.

A 44 kilometre trail marathon in Borrowdale, Keswick, taking runners over Scafell Pike. The mountain section is unmarked so navigation, suitable kit and self supplied food and drink are required.

A TRA licenced five mile trail race organised by Leigh Harriers AC at Leigh Sports Village on 23 August 2026, with affiliated and unaffiliated entry categories and published entry prices.

A 21k trail run around Borrowdale based in Keswick, featuring lakeshore trails, woodland singletrack and 550 m of ascent. The course is fully marked, chip timed and supported with hydration and medical cover.

Tackle Roseberry Topping on Wed 26 Aug 2026 in this classic short fell race hosted from Newton under Roseberry. Expect a punchy 2.3 km course with big climb and great views, junior entries welcome and on the day entry available.

Experience a traditional Lake District fell race at the Ennerdale Show. This event features an 8 km senior course and various junior races with registration available on the day.

An evening running event in Eyemouth on 28 August 2026 featuring a certified *5k* with chip timing plus several mini fun runs for children; finishers receive medals, goodie bags and ice cream from Giacopazzi's Gelato.

Join the Arnison Crag Horseshoe fell race in Patterdale on Sat 29 Aug 2026, starting at King George Playing Fields as part of Patterdale Dog Day. A steep 5 km with 300 m climb, entries on the day £5, minimum age 14.
