The course begins in the centre of Knaresborough and moves through parkland and along a converted railway track between Knaresborough and Harrogate. Feed stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles offering water, snacks, and fuel. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race treats. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association. Parking is available in a public pay-and-display car park a short walk from registration. The organiser advises using road shoes and that the event is cup-less, so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Entry fees range from about £25 to £56. Age minimums apply for some distances.
